The 4-Week Framework
Four weeks gives you enough time for a complete, structured preparation - from identifying weaknesses to building skills to test simulation. Each week has a specific focus:
| Week | Focus | Goal |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Diagnostic | Identify strengths and weaknesses |
| 2 | Skill Building | Target weak areas with specific drills |
| 3 | Integration | Practice full sections under timed conditions |
| 4 | Simulation | Full mock tests and final polish |
Time commitment: 45β60 minutes per day, 6 days per week (1 rest day). Total: ~24β28 hours of focused preparation.
Week 1 - Diagnostic
Goal: Know exactly where you stand in each section.
Day 1: Take a full CELPIP practice listening test. Score it. Note which parts were hardest.
Day 2: Take a full CELPIP practice reading test. Note where you ran out of time.
Day 3: Write one Task 1 and one Task 2 under timed conditions. Note grammar and vocabulary issues.
Day 4: Record speaking responses for all 8 task types. Listen back and evaluate.
Day 5: Create your weakness profile: rank the 4 sections from weakest to strongest. For each section, identify your top 2 specific problems.
Day 6: Research strategies for your weaknesses. Read the relevant tips articles. Watch recommended videos.
Day 7: Rest.
End of Week 1 deliverable: A clear weakness profile and a list of specific skills to build.
Weeks 2β3 - Skill Building & Integration
Week 2 - Targeted Skill Building:
Each day, spend 30 minutes on your weakest section and 15 minutes on another:

- Tue: Writing (grammar practice) + Speaking phrases
- Wed: Reading (weak parts) + Listening speed training
- Thu: Speaking (timed responses) + Writing connectors
- Fri: Weakest section deep dive (45 min focused)

- Sun: Rest
Week 4 - Simulation
Goal: Build test stamina and confidence.
Day 22 (Mon): Full mock test #1 - all 4 sections in order with real timing. Take the break between Reading and Writing.
Day 23 (Tue): Review mock test #1. Analyze every mistake. Update weakness profile.
Day 24 (Wed): Targeted drills on mistakes from mock test.
Day 25 (Thu): Full mock test #2 - all 4 sections. Compare to mock #1.
Day 26 (Fri): Light practice only. Review your best strategies. Watch motivational content.
Day 27 (Sat): Rest completely. Prepare test day materials (ID, confirmation).
Day 28 (Sun - Test Day): Light breakfast. Arrive 30 minutes early. Trust your preparation.
By end of Week 4, you should have: taken 2β3 full mock tests, identified and addressed all major weaknesses, built test stamina, and developed automatic strategies for each section.
